In the centre of the village of Bot, in the heart of the Terra Alta region, this small rural house hides behind a traditional 19th-century stone façade. Refurbished in 2005 and decorated with rustic simplicity, it's designed for intimate stays — with family or as a couple — in an area where wine tourism and the quiet landscapes of southern Catalonia take the lead.
Inside: three floors with a view
The house is laid out over three floors. On the ground floor, a spacious living-dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor, a double room, a single room and a full bathroom. And on the second floor, another exterior double room with a second bathroom, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and the terrace with mountain views — the favourite spot in the house when the weather permits.
Bot and Terra Alta: wine, greenways and history
Bot is a small, quiet village, ideal as a base to explore Terra Alta without relying on the car for everything. From the house you can access greenways for hiking and cycling — the Via Verda de la Val de Zafán runs close by —, taste the wines of Terra Alta (birthplace of white grenache) or visit nearby villages. For longer excursions: the Cistercian Route, the Sierra de Miramar and Tarragona city 20 minutes away.
